Star Denies Anti-Vaccine Views After Narrating Contentious Pandemic Documentary

The acclaimed actor has provided his narration to a recent film that challenges the safety of vaccines and lauds ex- cabinet secretary RFK Jr.

The Feature's Provocative Origins

Called "Plague of Corruption," the film is inspired by a well-known publication co-authored by Judy Mikovits, who rose to infamy during the health crisis for assertions that the virus was a result of a faulty batch of the seasonal immunization.

Her collaborator, the executive producer, has previously authored books with far-right media personality Alex Jones. Heckenlively recently posted celebrating Neeson's involvement in the documentary.

An Unequivocal Denial

A spokesperson for Neeson have provided a statement pushing back against claims that he holds anti-vaccine beliefs.

"We all understand that unethical practices may occur within the drug industry, but that cannot be equated to opposition to vaccines," the response explains. "Neeson never has been, and is not, against vaccines. His considerable work with Unicef underscores his long-held support for global immunisation initiatives."

It continued that the star did not shape the documentary's messaging and that inquiries about its assertions ought to go to the creators.

Key Claims Within the Feature

In the film, the script provided by Neeson makes several controversial statements:

  • It claims that pro-vaccine voices have insisted on "complete compliance" to public institutions.
  • It argues that "medical science has become deeply politicized."
  • Robert F Kennedy Jr is shown claiming, "The major issue with vaccines is that they simply are not properly vetted."
  • The film also criticizes stay-at-home orders, arguing they caused mental anguish that led to the loss of thousands of lives.
  • On the topic of pandemic shots, it mentions a view that they were "rushed to market" and seen as "dangerous experiments."

Previous Controversy and Current Issues

It also references a 2004 BBC documentary about clinical trials on children, which was afterwards the focus of a correction by the corporation for violations of guidelines.

Recently, the political figure instructed the Centers for Disease Control to revise its official position that there is no link between vaccines and autism. This supposed link is also referenced in the film, contrary to a fresh analysis from the World Health Organisation confirming no such link has been found.

An Earlier Position of Advocacy

Standing in contrast to the film's message, Neeson has previously shown strong support for vaccines in his position as a charity ambassador.

Two years ago, he referred to vaccines as "a remarkable human success story," noting that "The discourse about vaccines in recent years has lost sight of how much benefit they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest human endeavors in history."

The film finishes with Neeson's voice saying, "This marks not the end of our journey. It is the start of a fresh chapter."
