An Australian man that leaped over a barricade and grabbed actress Ariana Grande has been sent away and prohibited from Singapore.

The individual, twenty-six, was sentenced to more than a week in prison for being a public nuisance and has now been "banned from entering the country again," the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority informed news outlets.

He forced his way through camera crews and rushed toward the performer and artist, who was attending the Asian debut for Wicked: For Good on the thirteenth of November. Co-performer Cynthia Erivo intervened to remove him from Grande.

Wen has a history of interrupting performances and high-profile gatherings, including leaping onto the platform at the pop star's Australian show in June this year.

The occurrence sparked outrage in Singapore, with numerous people accusing him of triggering past trauma for the singer.

The co-star discussed the incident to a media outlet, remarking that she "just wanted to verify my co-star was safe."
